ITS’s in-house developed advising appointment system, AdvApp, provides the capability to make, look-up, or cancel appointments with advisors and students.

ITS’s in-house developed advising notes system provides the capability for advisers to make notes on their advisees.

 

Blackboard Mobile App

Blackboard (formerly Bb Student) is the mobile app for HuskyCT that is recommended for students. With this app students can view, complete, and submit assignments, quizzes, and tests. If you have the myUConn app, this app is already installed on your device.

 

Blackboard Grader

The app enables instructors to view and grade student assignments.

 

Blackboard Instructor

The mobile app for faculty using HuskyCT enables instructors to preview course material, participate in discussions, send announcements, and interact with students in Blackboard Collaborate.

 

CLAS PPC

An online program which allows students to change their majors within CLAS.

 

HuskyCT

HuskyCT is the University of Connecticut’s learning management system. It can be used to supplement face-to-face instruction or to deliver complete courses via the web through a web browser. ITS provides faculty and staff with class site setup and content restoration. HuskyCT - Tools & Features

 

HuskyDM

HuskyDM is the data repository and reporting tool that enables UConn faculty to document their university related activities throughout the year and generate university required reports.

 

Mobile Learn

Blackboard Mobile Learn is a mobile application where students and instructors can directly access HuskyCT. Within the app, students can check grades, view assignments, post to discussion boards and more. Instructors can use the app to post announcements.

 

Nexus

Nexus is a University of Connecticut web application built to complement the university’s decentralized student support services and to enhance communication and information sharing between students, staff, and faculty. Tools include appointment scheduling, note sharing, event registration, and much more. Nexus data analytics support early intervention efforts as part of the university wide effort to increase student success.

 

University-Licensed Software

The UConn Software catalog lists the software available to faculty, staff, and students for download or online delivery.

 

UConn Anyware

With UConn AnyWare, faculty, staff, and students can use university-licensed software online. After installing the Citrix Receiver client for Mac, Windows, iOS, or Android, you can launch available software from supported devices with a network connection.
